This course provides agricultural education licensure candidates with a structured, supervised clinical teaching experience in an agricultural discipline in an approved 6-12 school (minimum of 60 hours). The course content focuses on concepts, methods, and strategies for formal agricultural education. An emphasis on understanding and applying theories and strategies that address the needs of students, diversity issues, planning techniques, effective teaching strategies, differentiated instructional and assessment strategies, motivational concepts, and informal and formal assessment practices will be examined, practiced and evaluated by candidates.
