This course is the study of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) principles and systems. Topics include heating loads, cooling loads, psychrometrics, the refrigeration cycle, energy efficiency; residential and commercial, HVAC systems; and air distribution. Prerequisites: PHYS 242 and MATH 131 with a C- or better. Corequisite: AREN 363. (S)
