This course covers the fundamental knowledge related to structural, mechanical, and space enclosing building systems. The efficient operation and cost-effective maintenance of these building systems are investigated and evaluated to determine their impact on the management of a facility. This course introduces the facility engineer to the construction process, the structural systems, building envelope, interior enclosures, HVAC systems, fluid distribution, and other environmental systems that affect the efficient operation of a facility.
