The student must select a project on a special engineering topic of interest to the student and a faculty member who will act as advisor. The project and scoope of work must be agreed on by the student and the faculty advisor before the beginning of the semester. The project may be analytical and/or experimental and encourage independent thinking. The topic must be pertinent to the program the student is enrolled in and approved by the faculty advisor.
