This course provides additional coverage of atmospheric fluid mechanics topics. Topics covered are quasigeostrophic energetic fronts, mean circulation planetary and equatorial waves, an overview of the dynamics of the middleatmosphere, wave-mean flow interaction, spectral methods, and tropical meteorology. Prerequisite: ASME 433. (F;S)
