This course presents the physics and chemistry of particles and droplets in the atmosphere. Topics covered include optical properties and particle absorption and scattering, solutions of radiative transfer equation in multiple scattering atmospheres, statistics of size distributions, and physical chemistry of atmospheric aerosols.
