The course will be taught as a lecture with following topics: (1) basic engineering calculations and presentations, (2) process variable (measurement, calculation & control, (3) material and energy balance calculations (draw and label flowcharts and solve material and energy balance equations) Class will also conduct a fermentation lab. Fall and Spring. Prerequisite: GEEN 100. (F;S;SS)
