This coursse will include the basic principles and methods of epidemiology and applications of epidemiology to public health and clinical practice. Topics include measuring the occurrence of disease, identifying the cause of disease, estimation of risk, and evaluation of the validity and reliability of diagnostic and screening tests. Prerequisite: MATH 224 or permission of instructor; senior standing. (F;S)
