This is an advanced graduate level 3 credit hours course designed to present recent trends on the systematic study of complex interactions in biological systems, and how these interactions give rise to function and behavior of the biological system. Genomics, transcriptomics, RNA systems biology, proteomics, cytomics, epigenomics, RNA interference, gene editing technologies, synthetic systems biology, and relevant bioinformatics concepts and applications will be studied. The course will also focus on how high throughput data is analyzed, integrated and applied to the understanding of complex biological systems.
