This course is designed to introduce students to a more advanced understanding of biomaterials used for reconstructive surgery. This includes skin, nerve, bone, and soft tissue regeneration. Biomaterials available for burn patients, cancer patients, and trauma patients are the central theme of this course. Throughout the course ties are made between the topic of study and clinically relevant biomaterial performance. Prerequisites: Graduate Student Standing, BMEN 711. (F;S)
