This course is an introduction to management information systems and its role in collecting data and converting it into information and knowledge that can be used in managing organizations. Topics include: a survey of software used in typical business units, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, supply chain management, and decision support systems. Students will also perform hands on activities with current software. (F;S;SS)
