This course will examine fundamental aspects of computer-mediated communication and consider how different types of technologies impact communication. The course is designed to improve critical thinking skills when communiccating online, giving the students the tools to consider how and why impressions are made differently in computer-mediated environments. Prerequisites ENGL 100 or equivalent, minimum grade of C; ENGL 101 or equivalent, minimum grade of C; or approval of the chairperson. (F;S;SS)
