This course includes a set of laboratory exercises designed to reinforce and demonstrate engineering fluid mechanics and hydraulics concepts. Topics include graphical analysis of experimental data, fluid properties, manometry, and hydrostatic forces on surfaces. Bernoulli and energy equations demonstrations, impact of a jet, orifice flow and coefficients of contraction, velocity and discharge, pipe friction, broad and sharp-crested weirs, water surface profiles, Hydraulic jump, and flow through sills and throats. Co-requisite: CAEE 362. (F)
