This course is a continuation of CHEM 106. It includes the principles of chemical thermodynamics related to physical properties of liquids and solids, and spontaneity of reactions; priciples of chemical kinetics; and principles of chemical equilibrium and its applications in acids- bases, coordination chemistry and electrochemistry. Corequisite: CHEM 117/CHEM 190 ( CHEM 190-restricted only to CHEM majors. ) Prerequisite: CHEM 106 or equivalent. (F;S;SS)
