Topics of interest to first semester sophomore chemistry majors are presented and discussed. Topics include advising, retention, scholarships, curriculum, summer internships, career planning, and contemporary issues in chemistry. The course also provides a forum for students to interact with CHEM faculty and the Department Chair. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing in CHEM. (F;S)
