Students conduct laboratory studies on unit operations involving fluids mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. The studies include open-end experiments and comparisons between theory and experimental results. Statistical analysis of data, experimental design, laboratory safety and quality reporting are stressed. Students are required to complete formal and informal reports and make oral presentations with visual aid. Prerequisites: CHEN 318, Corequisite: CHEN 320. (F;S)
