This is required for students who have completed the doctoral qualifying examination and who are taking the written in-depth examination during the semester. This is a supervised program to help prepare the student for that examination under the mentorship of the academic advisor. Upon passing without conditions or after fulfilling any conditions specified by the student's PH.D. advisory committee, the doctoral student is admitted to candidacy.
