This course provides clinical theory on the assessment and treatment of different forms of family violence (e.g.,child maltreatment, intimate partner violence, adult survivors of abuse) from a trauma-informed care perspective. Safety planning and treatment modalities, including when to use single versus conjoint treatment, are reviewed in detail so that students are well-equipped to address these issues in their places of employment.
