This course presents the historical significance of fingerprint analysis and elaborates on latent print theories, identification processes, and analysis. The course focuses on fingerprint classification, evaluation of friction ridges, comparative analysis, chemical enhancement, preparation and AFIS database utilization. This is an Investigative Science specialization elective. Prerequisite: None. (F,S,SS)
