This course introduces the fundamentals and advanced aspects of firearm-related evidence (e.g., design, mechanisms, and manufacture) as well as interior, exterior, and terminal ballistics. The course focuses on firearm and ballistic databases and procedures for capturing, identifying, and classifying evidence.This is an Investigative Science specialization course. Prerequisite: None.
