This course provides a study of the atomic, molecular and crystalline properties of solids as conducting, insulating and semiconducting and magnetic materials in Electrical Engineering. The emphasis is on electrical, electronic and magnetic properties and applications. Mechanical, thermal and optical properties are also studied in the electrical engineering context.
