This course focuses on teacher candidates exploring evidence-based multimedia approachers for K-6 students to learn the qualities of diverse genres and texts across the curriculum. Candidates explore strategies for engaging students in new literacies (digital and print), read alouds, shared reading, and independent reading based on student assets, motivation, and developmental needs.
