This course focuses on ethics and professionalism for science and technology fields. Topics such as ethical theories, scientific misconduct, plagiarism, proper use of artificial intelligence, and collaborative practices in research are covered, along with codes of conducts and charters across various science and technology fields. Contemporary fields such as environmental impacts and sustainability, security and privacy, and diversity and inclusion practices in the workplaces are also covered.
