This course is for beginners in creative writing and introduces students to writing in various genres by means of creative exercises and assignments, workshops, and individual conferences. A multi-genre text on creative writing will be assigned to support the reading and analyses of published works. (Genres may include poetry, fiction, plays, and creative non-fiction.)
