This course deals with geological principles; nature, composition and distribution earth materials; processes responsible for the formation and modification of landscapes; rock and mineral identification; utilization of geographic information systems; geological processes; resource conservation; application of geologic concepts to agricultural, engineering and environmental problems. Prerequisites: CHEM 101 or 106. or consent of the instructor. (S)
