Students will be introduced to the fundamental components of small unmanned aerial vehicle systems (UAVs). Students will study the developmental history of UAV systems in the United States, UAV operations within the National Airspace System and existing and proposed Federal Aviation Administration regulations, State and local regulaitons, and UAV safety.
