This course allows students to learn about other cultures in a face-to-face environment without having to leave their classroom. It is designed to foster cross-cultural awareness through direct and indirect engagement with students in other parts of the world. It employs interactive technologies, which gives students the opportunity to communicate with students in different countries in real time. The cultural exchange is based both on written and oral communication between classrooms of students in two different nations using videoconferencing and other digital communication tools within the classroom environment and beyond. Prerequisite: None.
