This course requires intensive study of world historical developments since the beginning of the twentieth century. Through examination of primary and secondary sources, students will be expected to demonstrate an advanced understanding of the economic, political, social, cultural and environmental forces and developments that distinguish contemporary world history as a distinct historical epoch. Prerequisites: HIST 101, HIST 102, HIST 104, HIST105, HIST 206, HIST 207 and HIST 250. (F;S;SS)
