This introductory course provides students with the understanding of fundamental principles of health research methodologies and designs relevant to health services research. Research methodologies such as observational studies, randomized control trials, qualitative studies, and mixed method approaches to research will be examined and applied to a health care context. Prerequisite: MATH 224 and HSM 201 (F;S;SS).
