This course introduces various types of manufacturing processes including metal casting, forming, shaping, material removal and joining. The course also covers basic jig, fixture and gage design. Material removal rates and machining formulas are also explored. Laboratory projects are required. Prerequisite: GEEN 100. (F;S)
