This course provides an advanced study of systems used for manufacturing execution and shop floor control. Traditional control and adaptive control algorithms and applications for manufacturing are explored. Integrated control system functions include scheduling, execution planning, supervisor control, human machine interface, process control, quality control, and information acquisition.
