Description

The focus of this course is on exercise programming guidelines and recommendations for a variety of clinical populations, including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, pulmonary disease, and musculoskeletal conditions. Pathophysiology of these conditions, as well as the effects of common medications on the ability to exercise, is also discussed. Prerequisites: KINS majors only. A minimum grade of C in KINS 102, and a minimum grade of C in KINS 209 or D in BIOL 351, and a minimum grade of C in KINS 307. (F;S;SS)
