This course will address the fundamentals of geographic information systems (GIS), especially as they relate to applications by environmental planners and designers (including architects, landscape architects, urban designers and related professionals). The course will focus on using geographic information systems (GIS) as tools. In this component,we will explore the techniques, and procedures for acquiring, displaying, editing, analyzing and modeling spatial information. Minimum grade of C. Prerequisite: None. (F;S;SS)
