This course focuses on research and practice in community engagement and capacity building. It combines the scholarship of engagement and best practices of grassroots providers in the field by examining past and current research, programs, and practices associated with the science of community engagement. Emphasis is on how community engagement and capacity building impact areas such as healthcare, education, economic development and faith-based institutions and leaders. Prerequisite: None. (F;S;SS)
