This course also explores the leadership implications of strategic planning across a variety of healthcare settings. It critically examines strategic planning constructs and major theories in the study of effective organizational designs. Emphases include analysis of (a) the leadership dynamics inherent in the strategic planning process; and (b) vertical and horizontal interdependent relationship among components of organizational structure.
