This course provides an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of program evaluation in education and other institutional settings. Evaluation models will be examined and distinctions drawn between assessment, evaluation, and research. The course will study programs ranging from individual lessons to nationwide multi-year, multi-site projects, and ethical issues that influence the practice will be explored.
