This course is designed to cover special topics in data science and analytics that may be desired from time to time. Sample topics include for this course may include, but are not limited to, deep learning, cloud computing for data analytics, data analytics for Environmental Sciences, data privacy, etc. Students will have the chance to do applied data science research and execute data analytics projects in an industry of their choice. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and permission of instructor.
