This course will introduce students to international management and business practices and will include a related study abroad experience. Management and the business environment will be studied in the context of the country's history, culture, political,economic and regulatory environment. Course materials, assignments, foreign site visits, and cultural and historical tours will be used to understand fundamental differences between management styles, business environments, and business practices in the U.S. and internationally. Topics may vary depending upon the focus of the class. Prerequisites: Permission of the Chair of the Deepartment of Management. (F;S;SS)
