This course is an introduction to the legal system, and environment, in which business and the government operate, and examines the creation of rights, liabilities, and regulations under the law as expressions of social and economic forces. Substantive coverage includes the U.S. Constitution, court systems and procedure, federal market regulation, administrative agencies, consumer protection, contractual relations, agency, and employment law, including equal employment opportunity law.
