This course is designed for senior level undergraduates, graduate students, or professionals who wish to understand the concepts of technology transfer and commercialization. The course will focus developing innovations from research and development work done in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and the stepwise steps to be taken from research to commercialization, including intellectual property protection, ownership and developing commercialization plans. Students will also be exposed fundamental steps that should be taken to become successful entrepreneurs. Prerequisite: None. (F;S;SS)
