The course provides a fundamental understanding of the thin film deposition techniques and epitaxial growth of semiconductor materials. High vacuum technology and application of the deposition processes to the fabrication of heterostructure devices are also covered. Prerequisites: NANO 702 or consent of instructor. (F;S)
