This supervised program is for students who are taking the Nanoengineering Ph.D. qualifying examination as required for the Ph.D. program of study. It culminates in a scheduled written examination administered on a Pass/Fail basis and must be passed after the completion of the first year of Ph.D. course work on an unconditional basis. Prerequisites: Doctoral student in Nanoengineering with unconditional admission status and consent of academic advisor. (F;S)
