This is required for students who have completed the nanoengineering doctoral qualifying examination and who are taking the preliminary examination (oral preliminary defense). The student receives a Pass/Fail and no letter grade is given upon completion. Prerequisite: Student in Nanoengineering Ph.D. program. (F;S;SS)
