This course provides an introduction to the various groups of fungi and their morphology, biological activities, economic importance and their applications in biotechnology, bioremediation, waste recycling/bioconversion and bioproducts development. Prerequisites: BIOL 101 or any Intro-biology, microbiology or biochemistry course. (F;S;SS)
