Description

This course focuses on the refinement of cognitive and psychomotor nursing skills. Physiological and psychosocial needs of adults with acute and/or chronic illnesses are explored in the context of professional nursing. The theory and clinical components focus on development of critical thinking skills and clinical judgement. Using evidence-based nursing practice as their foundation, students provide quality patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Prerequisites: NURS 320, NURS 326. (F;S;SS)
