This course focuses on the development of professional knowledge and specialized skills in family centered care. Emphasis is placed on the stages of physiological, cognitive, and psychosocial development and health care needs from infancy to adolescence. In the clinical portion of the course, the students will learn to work within interprofessional teams and employ evidence-based practice, technology, and informatics to provide quality family-centered care.
