This is the second of a two course series that prepares registered nurses for the RN First Assistant role according to the guidelines published in the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Core Curriculum. The course builds on the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in NURS 490 to prepare perioperative and advanced practice RNs to function at an expanded practice level. The course takes place in a variety of health care settings through a precepted clinical experience. Corequisite: NURS 481 and with permission of instructor. (F;S;SS)
