The purpose of this course is to prepare nurses with the knowledge, skills and tools to improve outcomes and lead change at an organizational and systems level. The course will educate students in effective project planning, transformational leadership, policy advocacy, and systems level thinking. Learners gain the necessary skills needed to develop and evaluate new models of care delivery, improve health outcomes in a variety of health care settings, transform health policy, and create and sustain change at the organization and systems levels.
