This course introduces nurse leaders to economic concepts and applications in health and health care. Topics include assessing financial health, nurse entrepreneurship and practice management, and a synthesis of economics and finance. Students will foster an understanding of key concepts with enhanced explanations and samples of business plans and other reports in the context of health care delivery and outcomes.
