This course is about equipping nurse leaders with the requisite understanding, knowledge, and skills to engage with community stakeholders on healthcare needs and decision-making. Topics will include principles of community engagement, the community engagement continuum, communication and dissemination strategies, and the relevance of community engagement in addressing social determinants of heath and scientific equity and justice.
